Hayden Slinky Hose 30 Feet Hayden brand slinky style central vacuum utility hose. The Hayden Slinky is a quality hose with hundreds of uses. The Slinky hose is a stretch hose with enormous reach capabilities. The utility hose is a great add on to existing or new central vacuums and makes quick clean up's with your central vacuum fast and easy. Perhaps most admired for it's use in the kitchen area, the Slinky hose is great for every room, including the garage that requires quick clean-up's. You use the Slinky hose just as you would your regular hose, but the Hayden Slinky is lighter weight and only 8 feet long when stored. Just plug in your Slinky hose and metal banded hose end will activate most any central vacuum cleaner with standard inlets. As you stretch the hose end to the area to be cleaned you will see the unique construction of the slinky hose unlock and the 3.75:1 stretch ratio will extend your 8 foot compressed length to 30 feet of cleaning hose. The cleaning tool end of the Slinky hose is a standard 1.25" (32mm) friction fitting grip with an extra long 18 inch reach. The friction fit will allow the use of almost any standard vacuum cleaner tool including dust brush, upholstery tool, crevice nozzle or extension wands for cleaning hard floors with a hard floor brush. The hose grip also features a suction relief valve for lessening suction when cleaning delicate objects or using restrictive tools. The Slinky hose body is made from a soft rubberized vinyl that is tough and flexible. The support is wire inside the Slinky's tough outer skin is a round edge spring steel. The hose body is crush-proof style and the rounded spring steel wire with soft coating will not tear up furniture or walls when used. The Hayden Slinky Hose is straight suction, non-electric - it will not control the CV power unit and can not be used with a electric power brush as it carries no electricity inside the hose.
